Holland Select Board Accepts Warrant, Sets Annual Town Meeting for May 15
HOLLAND — April 17, 2018 — Holland Select Board unanimously accepts annual town meeting warrant for a May 15 vote. The board moved through more than 20 warrant articles at its April 17 meeting, approving the warrant without dissent. Items heading to voters include a police department vehicle request, Chapter 90 highway funds, authorization of revolving funds for town departments, and a "My Senior Center Technology" article that would create a centralized database linking police and fire departments to wellness and service information for vulnerable seniors. Board members noted the revolving fund article was drafted to satisfy both old and new state procedures while a legal review is pending. Several committee vacancies — on the Zoning Board of Appeals, bylaw committee, capital planning committee, and cable committee — remain open for appointment. Annual town meeting is set for May 15 at 7 p.m.
